Salonejamboree is made up of professional journalists who are passionate about promoting Sierra Leone’s untapped entertainment industry.

Our online publication, www.salonejamboree.com, has been in existence for over a year, but was officially launched by the Honorable Deputy Minister of Information and Communication, Haja Saidatu Sesay, on 29th May, 2009 at the British Council Hall and attracted eminent personalities including the Honorable Minister of Tourism and Culture, Hindolo Trye, and Director of Premier Media Consultancy Ltd., Dr Julius Spencer.

Even before its official launching, the site has been very popular among Sierra Leoneans at home and in the Diaspora. In the month of June 2009 alone the site recorded its highest hits 55, 000 visitors in a single day making it one of Sierra Leone's most popular website.

Our website was designed in the United Kingdom by Perkino Web Series but it’s managed in Sierra Leone.

Salone Jamboree aims to have a transformational influence on the economic, social and cultural development of the Sierra Leone 's entertainment industry and beyond by providing an educated and unbiased representation of the country's entertainment industry.

WHAT WE DO:

*As professional entertainment writers, most of who are employed in various national and international media, we provide extensive media coverage for our clients. Our networks include the World Wide Web, electronic and print media, and news agencies.

*We do press packages for our clients and offer expert advice in the area of image and event management.
